WIMBORNE WAYFARER

 I have been searching for the right individual, with an interesting combination of bitch/male lines in the pedigree, and where both parents are strongly built, proven healthy and have demonstrated their qualities out in the fields, which also represents my vision with Bramblemoor Gundogs. 

 

Mother Sage made up to Field Trial champion at three years old, is the winner of the 2-day Swedish Retriever Championships 2024, and also earned the title SE FTCH. Later on also earned the title INT FTCH in December 2025. Handled and owned by Frank Hermansen and Ellen Espedahl.

 

Sire Cider made up to Field Trial champion also at three years of age, selected to run for the England Gundog Team 2024 and 2025, qualified for IGL Retriever Championships 2024 and 2025. Handled and owned by Steve Richardson.

Both parents are friendly, biddable, easy-to-train, calm, well-balanced, fast and natural game finders.

Archie recently started his gundog training. He’s a fast learner and has a lot of drive. Straightforward in all kinds of terrains and loves to swim in cold streamy waters. He’s a young dog and has a lot of experience to gain. His exterior is large and muscular but proportional, with a thick coat and good pigment. A big boy with an even bigger heart, and I'm very pleased with him.
